Kindly note:

  • The hotels require that you confirm your reservations by September 30, 2023, after which data accommodation cannot be guaranteed.
  • The room rates specified are inclusive of bed and breakfast only. It also includes free internet access.
  • Accommodation payments should be made directly with the hotels selected by participants.

To facilitate logistical arrangements before, during and after the conference, kindly email your flight, travel itinerary and hotel reservations to the LOC at: arua2023conference@unilag.edu.ng, protocol@unilag.edu.ng, ladekola@unilag.edu.ng.

Your travel checklist includes the following:

  • Valid International passport
  • Travel itinerary (Flight Ticket)
  • Application for Nigeria Visa (immigration.gov.ng )
  • VISA ON ARRIVAL:
    To facilitate your travel arrangements to Nigeria, we request that you submit your visa application form, along with proof of payment and a scanned copy of the data page of your international passport, if you require assistance with visa-on-arrival processing. Kindly forward this information to arua2023conference@unilag.edu.ng and arua@ug.edu.gh. The deadline for submitting this information is 4:00 pm WAT on September 29, 2023.
  • Fill the form on Nigeria International Travel portal (nitp.ncdc.gov.ng)
  • Please complete the Nigerian travel declaration form before take off via https://healthapp.ncdc.gov.ng/

If your visa is not approved after three working weeks (or 15 working days), please email the following information to arua2023conference@unilag.edu.ng  for further assistance:

  • Full Name,
  • Passport number,
  • Affiliation (Name of University or Institute),
  • Passport Expiry date,
  • Visa Application ID number,
  • Visa Application 
  • Reference No.,
  • Date of Arrival, and
  • Date of departure.
