Launch of the African Academy for Migration Research (AAMR)
We are delighted to announce the launch of the African Academy for Migration Research (AAMR) led by the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Centre of Excellence in Migration and Mobility at the African Centre for Migration & Society (ACMS), Wits University.
The AAMR is funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and aims to build the research capacity and professional development of the next generation of African migration scholars.
Activities include a series of Virtual Training Institutes for postgraduate students and early career scholars, the development of Open Educational Resources, and funding for PhD and Postdoctoral Research Completion Grants.
