Prof. Evelyn Korkor Ansah

Professor Evelyn Korkor Ansah is the Director of the Centre for Malaria Research, University of Health and Allied Science in Ghana. She is a Public Health Physician, an Epidemiologist, fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Fellow. She holds a degree in Medicine and an MPH from Ghana and a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She was the Vice Chair of the Technical Review Panel (TRP) of the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. She currently serves on the World Health Organization’s Malaria Policy Advisory Committee (MPAC) and Malaria Elimination Oversight Committee (MEOC). She also serves on the Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG) of the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS and Malaria and the Bellagio Academic Selection Panel of the Rockefeller Foundation. She contributes to building capacity among the next generation of Public Health Professionals.
