Professor Stuart Taberner discusses his hopes for the ARUA – N8 conference
3rd May 2019
In under a week (May 8th), academics from ARUA and a number of British universities will meet to discuss closer research ties.
In this podcast, Professor Stuart Taberner, Dean for Interdisciplinary Research at the University of Leeds, discusses the aims of the meeting – to identify research projects that tackle the big issues facing the world: climate change, food security, disease, rebuilding post-conflict societies etc. Successful projects could secure funding from the UK Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).
