Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique becomes 20th Full Member of ARUA
The African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) is proud to announce the admission of Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P) of Morocco as its newest full member. UM6P’s inclusion marks a significant milestone, as it becomes the 20th full member of the Alliance and the first from Northern Africa, bringing the total number of member universities to 23.
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University prides itself as an institution oriented towards applied research and innovation, focusing on Africa. The university positions itself as a hub of knowledge dedicated to research, high-level education and innovation to support the continent’s development, along with a commitment to an innovative pedagogical approach which places learning by experimentation and practice at the heart of training and research.
The ARUA community is thrilled about UM6P’s membership and eagerly anticipates its active participation in the diverse programs and collaborations within the network. With UM6P on board, ARUA looks forward to fostering enhanced collaborative research, improved graduate training, research management and advocacy across the African continent.
