ARUA Board Chair Concludes Two-Day Working Visit to Ghana
The Board Chair of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) and Vice-Chancellor of Rhodes University, Professor Sizwe Mabizela, has concluded a productive two-day working visit to the University of Ghana and the ARUA Secretariat.
On the final day of his visit, Professor Mabizela toured the ARUA Secretariat offices at the University of Ghana, where he engaged staff in wide-ranging discussions on the Alliance’s strategic direction and priorities.
The visit commenced with a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, reaffirming the strong partnership between the host institution and the Alliance.
Professor Mabizela commended the Secretariat team for their commitment and underscored the critical role of strong institutional governance and collaborative execution in realising the Alliance’s strategic goals across Africa.
