The Africa Strategic Research and Education Partnerships Fund aims to help kick-start new, innovative research and education collaborations that might not otherwise be pursued. The Fund promotes and supports early-stage collaboration among academics, researchers and students at Imperial,  the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and/or members of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA).

African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research (ACEIR) holds Strategy Meeting

The African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) has participated in a Strategy Meeting of the African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research (ACEIR)   The meeting, which is taking place in Akosombo, Ghana, will provide the opportunity for ACEIR to reflect on its first four years since inception, as well as provide ARUA with an opportunity to share its own medium and long-term plans with the Centre.

ARUA Strategic Plan 2022-2027

Africa’s future will be determined by the effort that the region makes in pursuit of Agenda 2063 of the African Union and how such effort is amplified in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The effort must be driven by the availability and application of new knowledge in the production of goods and services, as well as in the governance and management of societies. This is what the development and application of new technologies and innovation are all about.
