Universities launch Africa-Europe Clusters of Research Excellence to pioneer new approach to equitable collaboration
At their recent summit in Brussels, the Vice-Chancellors and Presidents of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) and The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities (The Guild) have launched seventeen research clusters that aim to transform the nature of collaborative research, foregrounding equity as a precondition for excellent and impactful research to address our common societal challenges.
Early-Career Research Fellowships 2023

ARUA SG receives honorary Doctor of Science degree from UHAS
ARUA Secretary-General Professor Ernest Aryeetey this weekend was conferred with an honorary Doctor of Science degree by the University of Health and Allied Sciences for his “immense contribution to education, research and institutional development.” The conferment took place during the University’s Congregation ceremony.

At its meeting held this morning, the ARUA Executive Committee admitted University of Cape Coast, Ghana, to full membership of ARUA.
